Project assistant / coordinator · Remote

A project coordinator who keeps the timeline honest and the updates coming.

I've coordinated commercial fit-out projects, product launches and multi-partner events. Same discipline every time: one plan, one tracker, and no surprises on the deadline.

What I take off your plate

The work, listed plainly.

One plan, one tracker

Milestones, owners and dates in a single place people actually open.

Stakeholder updates

Short, regular status notes so no one has to ask where things stand.

Risk flagged early

You hear about a slipping date while there is still time to do something about it.

Vendor and site coordination

Suppliers briefed, deliveries scheduled, snags logged and closed out.

Meeting notes and actions

Decisions written down with owners attached, then followed up.

Documentation and handover

Files named, stored and findable after the project ends.

Hire me if

Any of this sounds familiar.

More on how I work is on the about page.

  • —Deadlines move quietly and no one notices until it's late.
  • —Actions from meetings never get chased.
  • —Vendors and internal owners are working from different versions of the plan.

How a week runs

Steady, not dramatic.

01

Keeping the calendar honest

Content calendars, campaign timelines, launch dates. I keep one version of the schedule, chase the pieces that are late, and tell you early when something won't land.

02

Doing the writing and the setup

Drafting blog posts and emails, loading them into WordPress, Shopify, Mailchimp or Klaviyo, checking links and formatting before anything goes out.

03

Handling people and suppliers

Briefing designers and videographers, onboarding vendors and partners, following up on the emails that would otherwise sit unanswered.

04

Pulling the numbers together

Weekly and monthly reports from Analytics, Search Console and the CRM, written plainly so insights are easy to understand and act on.

Where I've done it

Three industries, same discipline.

Commercial interiors & fit-out

The Interiors Limited

Sep 2024 — Dec 2025

The site went from very little organic traffic to a steady stream of enquiries, and the reporting rhythm stayed weekly for over a year.

International brand

Shekudo

Mar 2024 — Oct 2024

Launches went out on their dates, and the people involved always knew what was expected of them and when.

Community & events

Reclaim Wellness Co.

Mar 2023 — Dec 2024

Gather Market grew from 30 to 70+ brands, and I helped set up Gather Growth Club, a free community for women running small businesses.

The full case studies live on the projects page. Tools I work in day to day: Google Analytics, Search Console, Semrush, Ahrefs, Mailchimp, Klaviyo, Go High Level, Bitrix24, WordPress, Shopify.

Proof

Two short case studies.

International brand

Shekudo

The problem
Launches, campaigns and collaborations running across multiple countries at once.
What I did
Coordinated creative partners, vendors and timelines for Lagos Fashion Week and the New York Awet store launch, alongside site updates and content planning.
Outcome
Launches went out on their dates, with everyone clear on what they owed and when.

Community events & pop-ups

Reclaim Wellness Co.

The problem
Community events that needed brands, partners and a run-of-show that held on the day.
What I did
Handled brand outreach and onboarding, partner coordination with Alliance Française, The British Council and others, and floor coordination at Gather Market, The Wellness Summit and Gather House.
Outcome
Gather Market grew from 30 to 70+ brands, and Gather Growth Club launched off the back of it.

In their words

People I worked alongside.

Olanike is the person you want on the ground when everything is happening at once. She kept our brand onboarding process calm, organised, and genuinely warm. Vendors trusted her, the schedule held, and the small details — name tags, layouts, follow-ups — never fell through.
Jane — Event Manager, Reclaim Wellness Co.

Questions

Before you email.

What does a remote project coordinator do?

A remote project coordinator maintains the project plan and tracker, coordinates vendors and internal owners, circulates status updates, logs risks and actions, and keeps documentation current so the project manager can focus on decisions.

What kinds of projects have you coordinated?

Commercial fit-out and partitioning projects, product launches and store openings, and multi-partner events and pop-ups.

Do you work with PMs or independently?

Both. I'm most useful reporting into a project or operations manager who wants the follow-through handled reliably.

How do we start?

Email me the project and the deadline pressure you're under. I'll tell you honestly whether I can help.

Need this handled from Monday?

Email me and I'll reply the same day. Hiring for something adjacent? Read Marketing & operations assistant or Events & community assistant, or send a note through contact.
