About

I'd rather be the second pair of hands than the only pair.

I spent the last few years running marketing largely on my own, and I learned a lot from it, but I know now that I'm at my best supporting someone. When there's a manager to think with, I can take a plan and actually run it: the drafts, the deadlines, the people who need chasing, the small things that fall through when everyone is busy.

I'm organised, I write well, and I'm comfortable being the one who asks the awkward question about a deadline. I studied Philosophy, which mostly taught me how to read carefully and argue clearly — both of which turn out to be useful.

I've worked with a commercial interiors group, an international brand, and a community-focused company where I supported marketing, content, event and operations. They were three very different businesses, and in each one I learned by paying attention to how customers and people in those spaces actually communicate.

How I help

What it looks like week to week.

01

Keeping the calendar honest

Content calendars, campaign timelines, launch dates. I keep one version of the schedule, chase the pieces that are late, and tell you early when something won't land.

02

Doing the writing and the setup

Drafting blog posts and emails, loading them into WordPress, Shopify, Mailchimp or Klaviyo, checking links and formatting before anything goes out.

03

Handling people and suppliers

Briefing designers and videographers, onboarding vendors and partners, following up on the emails that would otherwise sit unanswered.

04

Pulling the numbers together

Weekly and monthly reports from Analytics, Search Console and the CRM, written plainly so insights are easy to understand and act on.
