Marketing assistant · Remote
A marketing assistant who takes the plan and actually runs it.
I'm Olanike. I work remotely alongside marketing managers and founders in the US, Canada, the UK and Europe — getting the content out, chasing the people who owe you things, and sending a report that makes sense on Monday morning.

What I take off your plate
The work, listed plainly.
Content calendar you can trust
One schedule everyone works from: what's going out, who owns it, what's at risk this week.
Blog and email production
Drafting, editing, uploading and formatting in WordPress, Shopify, Mailchimp and Klaviyo — links and images checked before publish.
On-page SEO support
Titles, meta descriptions, headings, internal links and alt text so pages are ready to rank, not just ready to publish.
Social and campaign scheduling
Posts written, queued and cross-checked against the campaign plan so nothing goes out at the wrong time.
Weekly reporting
Pulls from Google Analytics, Search Console and the CRM, written in plain English with a short so-what at the top.
Inbox, CRM and admin tidying
Follow-ups sent, records updated, files where people expect to find them.
- —You have a plan and no one with time to run it.
- —Content is slipping because uploads, links and approvals sit with one busy person.
- —You want a weekly report you can forward without rewriting it.
How a week runs
Steady, not dramatic.
Keeping the calendar honest
Content calendars, campaign timelines, launch dates. I keep one version of the schedule, chase the pieces that are late, and tell you early when something won't land.
Doing the writing and the setup
Drafting blog posts and emails, loading them into WordPress, Shopify, Mailchimp or Klaviyo, checking links and formatting before anything goes out.
Handling people and suppliers
Briefing designers and videographers, onboarding vendors and partners, following up on the emails that would otherwise sit unanswered.
Pulling the numbers together
Weekly and monthly reports from Analytics, Search Console and the CRM, written plainly so insights are easy to understand and act on.
Where I've done it
Three industries, same discipline.
Commercial interiors & fit-out
The Interiors Limited
Sep 2024 — Dec 2025
The site went from very little organic traffic to a steady stream of enquiries, and the reporting rhythm stayed weekly for over a year.
International brand
Shekudo
Mar 2024 — Oct 2024
Launches went out on their dates, and the people involved always knew what was expected of them and when.
Community & events
Reclaim Wellness Co.
Mar 2023 — Dec 2024
Gather Market grew from 30 to 70+ brands, and I helped set up Gather Growth Club, a free community for women running small businesses.
The full case studies live on the projects page. Tools I work in day to day: Google Analytics, Search Console, Semrush, Ahrefs, Mailchimp, Klaviyo, Go High Level, Bitrix24, WordPress, Shopify.
Proof
Two short case studies.

International brand
Shekudo
- The problem
- Launches, campaigns and collaborations running across multiple countries at once.

In their words
People I worked alongside.
She made launching in a new market feel less overwhelming. From coordinating with our London stockists to handling vendor documentation and shipping schedules, she kept the moving parts in order without us having to chase her.
Questions
Before you email.
What does a remote marketing assistant do?
A remote marketing assistant supports a marketing manager or founder with the day-to-day execution: scheduling and publishing content, drafting blog posts and emails, updating the website and CRM, coordinating freelancers, and pulling regular performance reports.
Are you available for part-time or full-time work?
Both. I can start part-time on a defined set of tasks and move to full-time once the workload is clear.
Which time zones do you cover?
I work fully remotely and have overlapped with teams across the US, Canada, the UK and Europe. Decisions get written down so nothing depends on being online at the same moment.
How do we start?
Email me a short note about the role and the workload. If it looks like a fit, we can talk through a first month of tasks and how you like to be reported to.
Need this handled from Monday?
Email me and I'll reply the same day. Hiring for something adjacent? Read Marketing & operations assistant or Content & communications assistant, or send a note through contact.
